-
Day One
Recommit to Your Creativity. In this module, you will identify the promise of your work, develop the approach to your story, and finally begin to create a writing practice.
-
Day Two
Develop Your Magic Content. Once you know what you want your writing to do, you can begin developing your book outline and creating your table of contents (yep, that’s where we start!).
-
Day Three
Craft Your Confidence. We become writers by writing. In this module, you will begin to write 1,000 words a week - and find your creativity partner to help you stay on track.
-
Day Four
Build Your Credentials. Once you start writing, it’s time to share your words, creating a consistent posting schedule and pitching your writing to local and national publications.
-
Day Five
Turn your concept into community. Once you have established a writing practice, the next phase is building a community practice, finding the friends and guides to help you write and sell your book.

The creative journey
Worksheets and Prompts on…
01
Your Path to Promise + Approach
Begin to identify your promise to your reader and what approach your work will take in fulfilling that promise. Spoiler alert: your promise usually ends up being your book title and your subtitle is your approach.
02
Build Your Book Outline
Using your story chronology and topic buckets, you will develop your book outline to not only chart your table of contents for your book but to chart your table of magic content – that can be repurposed for posts, pieces, and blogs.
03
Find Your Creativity Partner
We help you identify the person or people to start creating an accountability and creativity group, establishing the right group, setting goals, tracking your progress, and turning the creativity circle into your new writing community.
04
Build Your Substack (and other socials)
We help you turn your chapters into multiple Substack posts, building community off your magic content, and recognizing how you can begin to use the draft of your book as a blueprint for your social media, making it more authentic and whole less frustrating.
05
Create Your Community
We will lead you through the steps and options to start creating your community. You can choose your own adventure as you begin to consider all the ways you can start sharing your work with people you already know – and the many you are ready to meet.
06
The Secret Gatekeeper List
We’ll share a list of agents, editors, and pitching resources to help you start sharing your work with professional gatekeepers, friends, and guides. And also, special discounts to keep writing (and publishing) with Rise Literary.
